Overview – Samsic Assistance

Founded in 1986 in Rennes, Samsic Group is today a leading European business services company, operating in 27 countries and employing more than 150,000 people. Its expertise is structured around three core areas: Airport Services, Human Resources, and Facility Services.

In 2008, the Group launched Samsic Assistance, its subsidiary dedicated to airport operations.

Operating in France and internationally, it provides a full range of ground handling services, including :

• Passenger services (check-in, boarding, VIP assistance, PRM support)

• Ramp services (baggage handling, sorting, de-icing, push-back)

• GSE management and maintenance

• Aircraft cleaning

• Security services and baggage screening

Since expanding into North America in 2020, Samsic Assistance has developed across several key stations:

• Canada: Montréal–Trudeau (YUL), Vancouver (YVR), Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC)

• United States: Chicago O’Hare (ORD), San Francisco (SFO)

As part of its continued growth in Canada, Samsic Assistance is strengthening its presence at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) through this integration project, reinforcing its ambition to build a structured, agile, and sustainable operational network across North America.
